TRUE SKOOL’s Summer Park Jam Weekend brings free live music to Peck Pavilion Saturday.

After a week of heavy news, here’s a reason to get outside: TRUE SKOOL’s Summer Park Jam Weekend runs Friday, Aug. 14 through Saturday, Aug. 15, according to Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service.

What’s happening

It’s free, it’s outdoors, and it’s exactly the kind of Black culture and community programming worth showing up for. If you’re headed down, look for the Urban News Journal team — we’ll be around covering the weekend’s community events.
